How to put music on your mp4


Important Information

1. Don’t use I-tunes to try and transfer music to your mp4 player, I-tunes uses a special format that is not compatible with mp4 players. If you have iTunes you will have to download a converter program from the internet to convert them to a different format. (E.g. search for: Converter tool for i-Tunes to .mp3)

2. Don’t try to download a cd directly to the mp4, you must first save it to your computer (you can use Windows Media Player to RIP it onto your computer) then transfer the music to the mp4 file.

3. If you have the latest version of Windows Media player you can use the “Sync” option on the Media player to sync the mp4 to your PC, where you can build a play list and sync it directly to your mp4 player.

4. If you have a version of windows below Windows 2000 you will need to install the driver, which is included in your mp4 packaging.

5. The mp4 player supports most standard music files including: mp1, mp2, mp3, WMA, WMV, and ASF



Directions

1. Turn On Mp4 Player

2. Connect the mp4 player to your computer using the usb cable that is provided, the Computer will recognize the Player

3. Go to the “Start” button and then to “My Computer”;

4. Double click on the mp4 unit (New Remote Disc or USB Device)

5. Double Click Music

6. Go to Your Music Folder on your computer

7. In your personal music folder RIGHT CLICK on the song you wish to move and
Choose “copy” (Now you will have two folders open 1.Your Mp4 Folder and 2. Your Personal Music Folder

8. In the mp4 player folder RIGHT CLICK and choose “paste”, this will copy your song from your computer to the mp4 player’s drive

9. Or you can drag and drop your song from your music folder to your mp4 folder

10. If you wish to sort your music by play list on your mp4, you can do so by setting up separate folders under the music folder



Installing Movies onto mp4 players

1. Insert Driver CD into computer
2. Double Click the “My Computer” link on your desk top
3. Double click on the CD drive to access the program
4. There will be 3 folders available, double click the one called “Tools”
5. Find the “Set up” icon, and open it
6. Follow the installation instructions
7. After installation is complete, go to “Start” on your computer> All programs > mp3 player
8. Double click the AMV Converter
9. On the INPUT file find the movie file
10. On the OUTPUT file save where you wish
11. Press start (the 2 arrows at the bottom) and begin the converting process


Once you’re finished, you can pass the converted movie file to your mp4 by dragging and dropping it into your Mp4 file.
